Just launched, L’Occitane Brightening Touch Targeted Corrector is a great addition to the L’Occitane Immortelle Brightening collection, designed to cover and conceal dark circles. The brightening collection relies on a combination of Daisy flower extract, renowned the world over for it’s incredible brightening properties, and the cell renewing properties of Vitamin C.
The level of treatment in this product is negligible and it will work excellently with the L’Occitane Eye Care & Mask Duo Brightening Correction (review coming tomorrow) which is designed to treat dark circles with the Brightening Touch Targeted Corrector adding that boosted coverage.
There’s only one colour which was a bit of a surprise, as most brands usually have at least 3 or 4. It works surprisingly well and is a little more sheer/lighter than eye-pens like Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat.
You can definitely see a difference though, much brighter and even in colour – there’s a diffused effect that smooths everything.
On application, dot L’Occitane Brightening Touch Targeted Corrector under the eye area and pat into the skin with your ring finger; keep patting and shuffling across from the outside in and then the inside out until it all disappears.
Also, apply a little amount in the nostril crease at the side of your nose to really boost that brightening!
It feels soft and comfortable on the skin not leaving lines or creases when it dries. You also don’t look like you’re glowing from the eyes like the Mysterons are on you; the effects are distinctive but subtle.
This is perfect for guys who want to conceal dark circles but want the result to be natural rather than totally plastered on.
Customer research also seems positive with 89% of consumers seeing areas of shadow and fatigue seeming brighter.
I’d say L’Occitane Brightening Touch Targeted Corrector is a great place to start for anyone wanting to take that extra step in concealing and correcting dark circles. Pick it up here from L’Occitane for £26, which should last you a good while.
