Some of you may not have encountered shave oils before and this is because they’ve fallen out of favour due to the increased popularity of shave foam gels supposedly offering a ‘complete shave’. However much of a ‘complete shave’ your gel offers, it still can’t beat the use of a quick and easy pre-shave oil such as this. All you do is layer it onto clean skin and then apply the shave cream or gel over the top.

This particular pre-shave oil is from Anthony Logistics and is pretty special as it has been designed for all skin types and is fragrance free and contains a whopping number of especially chosen oils: Olive oil, essential oils of Eucalyptus, Peppermint and Rosemary are combined with conditioning Vitamin E and healing Calendula to create our soothing pre shave oil. Nice.

This product really did eliminate the rash I get after shaving, which can especially occur up my neck in the form of red bumps. The razor glided more easily and didn’t catch once resulting in an incredibly close shave and leaving my skin much smoother and more hydrated. I will add, despite this being an oil, even if you are oily or suffer with spots, it will not increase surface oil and is non-comodogenic so it won’t block pores.
